WELCOME TO VINTAGE OAK
In line with our ethos of recycling materials wherever possible we are fashioning all our products on materials that have had a previous life, often combining them with other found items. Check out the Champagne Moments clock or the Domino version, which still bears the Jack Daniels Bourbon mark, to highlight just two of our latest creations.
We try to use the minimum of interference with the surface so that evidence of their previous life is preserved. Often there is wording relating to their former contents or the distillery from which they come, so cleaned up and polished, their history is there to see. Each one is a unique tribute to the cooper’s skill. All these things add to the charm of these lovely timepieces but don’t worry the actual mechanisms of the clocks are all brand new and up to date.
OAK BARREL STAVES
However there is much more to a barrel than it’s round ends and after we have used the lids to make our stunning clocks we then turn our attention to the oak staves that make up the body of the barrel to create a range of beautifully crafted and useful additions to your home and garden.
From elegant, minimalist candleholders, which highlight the beautiful curve of the stave and the rich graining of the oak, to more elaborate designs, each incorporating the subtle curvature of the staves to form the shape and style of the finished product.
